Aicey Paiwer Day,  Born, Raised and Local Resident of Townsville, Queensland Australia. A Proud Komet Tribesman of Mer Island, Eastern Torres Strait Region.  Having a Vast amount of Knowledge from a very young age, Aicey has an ambition to Promote, Preserve and Maintain Torres Strait Islander Practices and Teachings.

In 1990, Aicey Formed a Micro Business Called Komet Torres Strait Islander Art & Culture. In the Beginning, Aicey’s main Target was Youth and Non-Indigenous Groups, Organizations and corporations promoting Cultural Awareness about Torres Strait Islander Culture through Dance, Arts & Crafts and Cultural Immersion Workshops.

Through the years Aicey and his KTSIAC Family Group have created many Networks across Australia and travelled Australia delivering Cultural Services with Professionalism at a grass Roots Level. Aicey has made it his Goal to help revive his Mother Tongue Meriam Mir, so that he and Future Generations, can Speak Meriam Mir.
